Details
UPLIFT Desks are engineered for world-class stability, safety, and reliability. Both the UPLIFT V2 and UPLIFT V2-Commercial Frames are built with top-of-the-line quality components and precision machining that is built to last. They feature an impressive vertical travel range of either 25.6" or 26.1", fast height adjustment, one-touch operation, and individual drive motors in each leg. The desk you invest in today will work well into the future thanks to our 15 year warranty. Certifiably sturdy and strong; both frames meet the ANSI/BIFMA X5.5-2021 standard for durability and stability.
The combination of one-to-one motor to leg ratio and advanced collision sensors results in an industry leading anti-collision system. Unlike other desk brands, the UPLIFT Desk anti-collision feature works great as the desk moves up or down, and the sensitivity can be adjusted to account for usage differences.
Using a desk should be effortless and fun. A desk that raises quickly to a preset height with a touch of a button is a desk that you'll use more often to keep moving (more frequent sit-stand transitions throughout each day). UPLIFT Desks are equipped with 3-stage legs with a large vertical height range of motion. UPLIFT Desks have a 33% greater height range and are 33% faster than competing 2-stage leg desks. 2-stage leg desks have a substantially limited vertical travel range and are noticeably slower, which can impact comfort and productivity if the desk doesn't go low or high enough, fast enough, for the task at hand.
We stand firmly behind the quality of our products. All UPLIFT Desk products come with a 15 year warranty. See the full Warranty Policy.
Introducing the most advanced height adjustable standing frame: the UPLIFT V2 Standing Desk Frame. We've taken our most popular desk frame and increased its safety, improved its stability, and added multiple features.
We created the UPLIFT V2-Commercial Standing Desk Frame to provide a seated and standing height range that's ergonomically suitable for 95% of office workers. This frame (with a 1" thick desktop) meets the ANSI/BIFMA G1-2013 height guidelines required by many of the world's largest companies, which accommodates users from 5' tall seated to 6'3" tall standing.
Introducing the most advanced height adjustable standing frame: the UPLIFT V2 Standing Desk Frame. We've taken our most popular desk frame and increased its safety, improved its stability, and added multiple features.

This frame (with a 1" thick desktop) meets the ANSI/BIFMA G1-2013 height standard required by many of the world's largest companies, which accommodates users from 5' tall seated to 6'3" tall standing.
UPLIFT V2 & V2-Commercial desks meet the ANSI/BIFMA X5.5-2021 Desk & Table Products standard requirements for safety, durability, and structural performance.
The key difference between the UPLIFT V2 and V2-Commercial frame types is height range; they are both equally stable. The V2-Commercial desk has a height range that starts at almost 2" lower than the V2 desk and meets the ANSI/BIFMA G1-2013 Ergonomic Guidelines height standard.
For the Desk Nerds:
The V2 Desk has stability braces at the top of each leg for maximizing stability without the need for a lower crossbar that connects the legs. To provide the space needed for the stability braces, the leg orientation is inverted with the larger telescoping tube section at the top. These angular stability braces eliminate side-to-side wobble and replace the need for a lower crossbar.
For the V2-Commercial Desk to achieve an almost 2" lower starting height with a larger overall height adjustment range, the 3 telescoping leg sections were designed to be shorter and travel farther. Because of this, the telescoping leg stages overlap each other less than they do on the V2 legs. To compensate for less overlap, the V2-Commercial legs are thicker and connected by a lower crossbar. The end result is a 4-leg desk with best-in-class stability that exceeds the award-winning stability of our 2-leg desk.
The V2-Commercial Desk was developed to optimally accommodate users under 5'3" tall (fits 4'11" to 6'5" tall users). The V2-Commercial Desk meets the ANSI/BIFMA G1-2013 Ergonomic Guidelines height standard, accommodating users who are a seated female 5th percentile (5'0") to a standing male 95th percentile (6'3"). The V2-Commercial Desk accommodates users 4'11" to 6'5" in most cases (for example, standing males above 6'3" tall will have a slight decline angle in their forearm while using the desk and can use a keyboard tray to elevate their keyboard if needed). With the lower starting height, the V2-Commercial Desk accommodates smaller seated children especially when used with a keyboard tray.
Using a keyboard tray enables the V2 desk to fit users 4'7" or taller, and the V2-Commercial desk to fit users 4'3" or taller. Additionally, we recommend the use of a keyboard tray for any intensive computer user regardless of their height. Keyboard trays optimally position the keyboard/mouse so wrists can be kept perfectly straight during use. The optimal position for your keyboard and mouse allows the upper arms to hang comfortably at your sides, with elbows at about 90 degrees, and wrists perfectly straight while typing and mousing. This will usually place the keyboard tray height just above lap height while seated. UPLIFT keyboard trays have 8" of height adjustment and move vertically from 5" below to 3" above the underside of the desktop. They typically mount to a Track Spacer under the desk, which is 2.8" below the desktop bottom surface.
ANSI/BIFMA G1-2013 Ergonomic Guidelines
The UPLIFT V2-Commercial Desk meets all height requirements per the ANSI/BIFMA G1-2013 Ergonomic Guidelines, which state that desks must accommodate 5' to 6'3" user heights. The V2-Commercial desk is almost 2" lower than the V2 desk and is the best choice for users under 5'3" tall. Both the V2 and V2-Commercial desks meet the ANSI/BIFMA X5.5-2021 Desk & Table Products Standard. Rest easy knowing that UPLIFT Desks are designed and tested to the highest professional standards.
Keypads are available in Flush or Angled mount.
All Basic Keypads use constant-touch height adjustment: press and hold a button until the desk reaches the desired height.
One-Touch Adjustment to 4 Saved Heights
Set up to four different heights and then tap a button to "automagically" adjust your desk to one of them. Move your chair and position a standing mat or board while the desk autonomously glides to your standing height with the help of its anti-collision system
Note that the Advanced Paddle Keypad uses a paddle instead and buttons and offers all advanced keypad functions while allowing a simple double tap of the paddle to adjust your desk to one of two saved heights.
Keypad Lock
Prevents the desk from moving until deactivated. Useful if unsupervised small children are present.
Anti-Collision System
The 6-axis electronic gyroscope sensor in the control box measures desk motion and works well to stop desk motion whether moving up or down. If needed, advanced keypads can adjust the sensitivity of the system.
1-Touch or Constant-Touch
Advanced keypads are set to one touch mode for convenient desk repositioning. Set to constant touch or lock keypad if unsupervised children are present.
Min & Max Heights
Set stop limits to trigger before the desk impacts shelves above or cabinets below.
LED Display
Adjust to a specific height with the height display. Display auto off after 10 seconds of inactivity to avoid light distraction in dark rooms.
Height Calibration
Calibrate the displayed height on the keypad. Especially useful to account for the additional height added by casters.
When it comes to powering all of your devices on a standing desk, it's best to utilize a power source that moves up and down with the desktop. Not only is it more convenient to have power outlets within arm's reach, but the risk of plugs pulling out of wall sockets when the desk moves is eliminated. We have many options to choose from, there's the Power Grommet, Clamp-On Power, 8-Outlet Mountable Surge Protector, Wireless Charging Power Hub, and Power Hub with USB. Also, a power strip is included with the Basic, Advanced, and Ultimate Wire Management Kits.
Our cable management tools help keep the whole office looking clean and organized. Every UPLIFT Desk includes one Wire Management Tray to get you started. The wire tray attaches under the desktop and houses a power outlet strip, cords, and any bulky power adapters in a discreet, centralized location that moves as your desktop moves.
The very popular Magnetic Cable Organizing Channel attaches directly to the frame leg and keeps wires routed discreetly down from just under the desktop to the floor.
Our favorite place to stow cables, wires, outlet strips, and bulky power adapters is inside the Wire Management Modesty Panel. The mesh panel attaches to the back of any size desk and provides a clean finishing touch to your workspace. It's essentially a large mesh pocket with velcro closures. A 29" wide Wire Management Modesty Panel is included in the Ultimate Wire Management Kit, or select a wider Wire Management Modesty Panel.
It can be a daunting challenge to plan and design an office layout. We're here to help.

FAQ
It certainly is—both frames produce 50 db when adjusting their heights!
That has to do with the 3 spindles we have in each of our frame legs—versus the standard 2 you'll find on cheaper height adjustable frames. Because we add a spindle, it makes our desks 33% quicker to adjust! Also, our 3-stage frames offer you a higher range of height adjustability, so they suit a wider group of people, from the petite to the very tall—and even kids!
If you plan on adding a treadmill to your standing workstation down the line, a 3-stage frame will give you the extra boost you need to raise your desk high enough to use it.
The 4-leg frame is quite substantial, so this really depends on how heavy your desktop is. More than 2 people might be necessary to move a large conference table. Be sure to include casters on your frame if you plan on moving the desk often.
Certainly! The 4-leg frame is great for unique desktop shapes, including circles and ovals. Just make sure to evenly distribute the weight across all 4 legs—and choose a substantially solid desktop.
You can quickly check to see which version of the control box you have by glancing at the silver label on it. If it says v4 or higher, you know you have the newest version of our control box, which includes several new features!
The BIFMA X5.5-2021 standard ensures that both of our UPLIFT V2 4-Leg Standing Desk Frames meet and exceed strict tests of desk loading, racking, leg strength, vertical adjustment, and cycle testing.
Each control box is specific to the number of legs on the frame (2, 3, or 4). Therefore, if you remove one of the legs, the entire frame will not work.
The 4-leg frame is inherently more stable, based on the principles of physics. It also has a larger carrying capacity, which comes in handy if you are using your desk to carry something substantial, like a large quilting machine or a turntable. The long feet attach the front and rear legs on each side of the desk frame for rock solid stability.
All UPLIFT Desk frames boast a motor in each leg so that you can rest assured that your desk is the safest, quietest, strongest, and most reliable desk you can buy. Most electric sit-stand desks on the market only have a single motor.
You can install very wide desktops with this frame, so long as they are stable and don't exceed the weight capacity of 535 lb. The frame needs a 42" wide desktop, at minimum. Please note that the standard grommet placement for 42" and 48" wide UPLIFT desktops will not work with the 4-leg frame as the frame interferes with the grommets for those widths.
Yes, you can use a glass desktop, but you will need to mount it to a piece of wood or other material first—and that material should be thick enough to hold the wood screws (included) used to mount your desktop to the frame.
All control boxes by UPLIFT Desk are designed to run on the US electricity standard of 120V. If you are ordering an UPLIFT Desk frame from outside the United States (other than Canada), you'll need to plug it into a step-down transformer first. If you don't use a transformer, you run the risk of overloading your frame's control box, which is not covered by warranty. Contact us If you have any questions at all regarding how your country's voltage works with this frame.
Yes, however you will need to remove the plastic cubby from the Track Spacer bracket to avoid interference with the front crossbars.
The 4-leg frame ships with two 4.3' (1.3 meters) cables and two 8.2' (2.5 meters) cables.
The 4-leg standing desk frame can support up to 535 lb of distributed weight. If there is a load difference of more than 100 lb between each side of the desk, the legs may become misaligned and not function properly.
The UPLIFT V2 is the most popular frame configuration, followed by the UPLIFT V2-Commercial.
Most desk issues can be solved quickly by following our desk reset and troubleshooting instructions. These steps can be completed in just a few minutes. If you still need assistance, please contact us.
