  • What is Affirm financing?

    Affirm pricing helps you pay for the things you want over time. You're in control of how long you make monthly payments and how much you'll pay.

  • How do I apply for Affirm Financing?

    You can apply online or through an app.

  • What information do I need to provide to Affirm?

    You'll need to create an account online and include a 4-digit PIN that was texted to your phone. Follow the prompt and request a loan. Tell Affirm where you are shopping and how much money you need. Then, you'll see your loan decision.

  • Does Affirm perform a credit check?

    Yes. Subject to credit check and approval. Checking your eligibility won't affect your credit score.

  • Who is eligible to apply for an Affirm loan?

    You must be at least 18 years of age. The exceptions are in Alabama and some cases in Nebraska where you must be 19 years of age to be considered eligible. Sign up and create an account to see if you qualify.

  • Why was I denied financing for an Affirm loan?

    We want to start with an apology. We are sorry you couldn't be approved at this time. Check your email for a detailed response from Affirm. If you can't find the email be sure to check the address that's entered into your Affirm account.

  • Why was I prompted to pay down a payment with a credit card?

    You may not qualify for the full purchase amount of your item. If this is the case, you'll be required to make a down payment. After this is completed, your monthly payments will begin and be due at the same time, starting about one month after your loan is finalized.

  • Why was I prompted for a checking account?

    In some cases, you may be asked to link your checking account. This gives Affirm more insight into your ability to pay them back. Don't worry; you are not giving Affirm permission or the ability to debit your account.

    After linking your bank account, you can unlink it at any time in your Affirm account settings.

    Please note that not all small banks and credit unions can be linked.

  • How do I pay my bills?

    You can make a payment or schedule your payments on affirm.com or in the Affirm app.

    To make payments on affirm.com:
    • Sign in to your Affirm account
    • Click on Loans
    • Click Pay
    • Select the amount you would like to pay and the date you'd like to pay
    • Add or select your payment method
    • Click continue
    • Review the information you've entered
    • Click submit
    To make payments in the app:
    • Download the free Affirm app from the Apple App Store for iOS or the Google Play Store for Android.
    • Sign in
    • Click loans
    • Click pay
    • Choose the amount you'd like to pay, the date, and payment method
    • Click pay now

    After you make your payment, it will show as processing on your Affirm account. The status should update to paid within five business days. You'll also receive an email and an SMS update.

  • Does paying with Affirm affect UPLIFT Desks refund policy?

    Please contact UPLIFT Desk to find out if your item qualifies for a return. If your item is refundable, you'll see the adjustment made in your Affirm account.

  • How do refunds work if I paid with Affirm?

    Contact the store where you bought your item and request a return and refund. They will let you know if your item qualifies for a return and if a refund is possible. After they process the refund, the full amount will be visible on your loan balance within 3-45 business days. You can also see your loan balance in your Affirm account.

  • Can I amend my order after my purchase has been processed?

    Contact UPLIFT Desk and let them know you'd like to cancel or change your order. If it's possible UPLIFT Desk will let you know and proceed with the order changes. If your loan is already finalized, you'll receive a refund. The refund can take about 21 days to process.

    In rare situations, it can take up to 90 days to issue a refund. This normally happens if part of an order or all of an order was delayed or canceled.
