The 3-Leg Frame in gray powedercoat finish, ready for a desktop.

    Height-Adjustable Frame

A large corner desk requires extra support. The 3-leg frame provides you with two C-shaped legs and an upright support leg, which can be configured based on your needs. We recommend placing the upright support leg in the back corner if you like to work towards the center of the desk. Move the upright support leg to either side if you would like extra room underneath your desk at the end. The telescoping support bars adjust to fit many widths and provide extra support when there is a seam in your desktop. Turning your corner desk into a standing desk will make it a true standout in the crowd with this 3-leg frame.

    Digital Memory Keypad

The advanced keypad puts all of the control at your fingertips, with a digital display and four memory presets. Just find the perfect desk height and then save it to the memory. Next time you want to stand up, or perch on your UPLIFT stool, the advanced keypad will have your back just by holding down your preset.

The Advanced Digital Memory Keypad shows height levels in inches on an easy-to-read display.

    Advisories

    • Safety first
    • Do not attempt to open any electrical components of the desk, such as actuators, the control box, or the keypad.
    • Please observe all warnings, notices, and advisories in the provided user's manual.
    • Mind the weight
    • Weight capacity for UPLIFT frames assumes that weight is evenly distributed.
    • Improperly distributing weight will diminish lifting capacity, create a tipping hazard and may damage leg actuators.

    Advisories

    • DIY-ers be aware
    • Maximum desktop width depends on the material, thickness, and construction of the top you are providing.
    • Maximum recommended width tops of 96" may sag or bend if placed on our width-adjustable desk frame without installing the crossbar.
    • The maximum recommended depth of your desktop is 40" (desk will overhang the feet of the frame by about 5" in the front and rear).
    • A 40" deep desk will be slightly less stable, and we recommend a 3-leg frame for those who require no desk movement. A 3-leg frame supports a 50" deep desktop.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    1. I have the advanced keypad with memory presets, and when I touch one of the presets my desk only moves a fraction of an inch and doesn't go all the way to the preset height. Is there something wrong with my keypad?

Your Advanced Keypad is probably working just fine. Older 3-leg frames do not allow one-touch height adjustment. Instead you will have to press and hold each memory key. The new UPLIFT 3-Leg Frames do have a built-in safety stop that senses if there is an obstruction in the way. With this new safety feature, you will be able to use the one-touch capability of the Advanced Keypad.

    2. Does this frame have to be arranged in an "L" shape?

Certainly not! You can install the third leg towards the back of a rectangular desktop for additional support. Contact our Sales Pros for more custom configurations.

    3. Can I build my old frame to be like the new frame?

If you have an older frame and want to update it, then contact our Sales Pros. They will be able to help you order the pieces needed to update your frame.

    4. Can I install my desk's legs in a different configuration than I see in the installation manual?

We recommend following the guidelines in our assembly manual so that you will have the sturdiest desk possible. If you have any other configurations in mind, contact our Sales Pros and they will be able to go over custom configurations that will still offer adequate support.

    5. I just installed my frame but it won't change heights. What is wrong?

The most likely scenario is that one of the legs has not been properly connected. The desk will only move if all three of the legs are connected. Double check the connections and then give us a call for further support.

    6. Can I put the third leg anywhere?

The third leg is separate and can be placed anywhere. That being said, you will want to make sure that the load of your desktop is evenly dispersed between the three legs or your desk will not be stable.

    7. Is the 3-leg frame as quiet as the 2-leg frame?

Yes, the motor is just as quiet on the 3-leg frame as it is on the 2-leg frame.

    8. How many pounds can this hold?

This can handle up to 530 pounds, which is quite impressive if you ask us!

    9. How many people will I need to assemble the 3-leg desk?

You should be able to attach the frame to the desk by yourself. However, setting the desk right-side up after installation is definitely a two person job.

    10. What are the maximum dimensions I can put on this frame?

For maximum support, we suggest installing a desktop between 36" and 80" wide.

    11. What kind of material should I use on my desktop?

Make sure you are using a solid desktop that is at least 3/4" to 1" thick. The frame will be attached with wood screws so make sure your desktop can support those as well!

    12. How sturdy is this frame?

UPLIFT frames are rated as some of the sturdiest on the market! Add in the third leg and you won't notice very much wobble, if any, even when your desk is fully extended.

      3 leg kit

Posted by John W on Dec 21st 2016

I purchased the 3 leg kit with memory position controller and cable management system and privacy screen and 2 separate monitor arms. I removed the desk top from the existing frame and had no problems installing the new Up-Lift legs using the hardware that came with the 3 leg kit. The 3 leg kit came with one box with the standard 2 leg configuration with control module for 3 legs and one box with the 3 leg with a with control module for 2 legs (this module is NOT needed/used). All hardware I needed was included with the items purchased.

I have been looking for a solution to not only raise the monitors and keyboards for my people but their work area as well. The fact that these can adjust from so high to so low is amazing. Everyone is more than thrilled with these. we have ordered 3 so far but everyone in the office wants one so we will definitely be ordering a lot more.

      Works Well

Posted by Anonymous on Apr 22nd 2016

I designed a custom desktop and the flexibility of the 3 leg base has worked well. Good stability. After trying it out on one desktop, we ordered another set for my business partner.

      Solid Office Upgrade

Posted by Anonymous on Feb 28th 2016

I recently installed a set of 3-leg UPLIFT Desk legs on my existing L-shaped desktop. The entire process was clear and easy and the result is a phenomenal upgrade to my work environment. With two monitors, multiple hard drives, speakers, edit decks, switches, hubs, and accessories, I was a little worried about the realities of the legs to handle my load, but the desk glides smoothly up and down without issue, is solid in every position, and my body loves the options! I am very pleased.

Love it so far, Uplift 900 - 3 legs

Posted by James Arthur on Jun 1st 2015

So far I love this product. All works great and is sturdy. I am sure my installation was not recommended as I did not have the room in my tight area to flip my L-shaped desk upside down to install the legs. I rather had to assemble the legs and then place them under the desk first. Then utilizing the three legs (unsecured) I lifted the desk and removed all panels that supported the desk. After that it was simple, I lowered the legs all the way down and unplugged everything. Then climbing under the desk I positioned the legs where I wanted and screwed them into place. Reconnected everything and I was off and standing in front of my old business desk. Thank you, James

      UPLIFT 950 3 Leg Base

Posted by Marty on Jun 1st 2015

Years ago I saw 12' wide workstations for the dispatchers of a global shipper and have wanted one since. I thought they were only available custom built (and priced). Then I read an article which led me to your website and I decided to make the investment. I took the legs off of two surfaces of my C shaped workstation to make an L that moves up and down a few times a day. I added one of those old fashioned 2' tall metal stools that have the springs on the small wheels so I can roll it back and forth to place my left or right foot up. After two months of standing most of the day, I feel great! Expect your feet to complain a little at first (by the end of the second week, I had a good routine of alternating). Good sturdy shipping packaging, straight-forward assembly following the directions, very smooth operation between the 3 legs raising and lowering together, simple and bright display of how many inches the legs are raised so you can remember your favorite height. The 4 programmable height settings are handy.

      Uplift 950

Posted by Jon on May 18th 2015

Bought two tables for co-workers. Both tables working extremely well and staff love them. We modified to include a privacy panel in front of one. Easy to use and would highly recommend them.
