Increasing animal welfare in our community with over a thousand donated Desk Pet Beds

We're excited to share that we've donated over a thousand Desk Pet Beds to local animal welfare organizations. These beds, made with thick, supportive foam and plush synthetic wool, are now providing cozy spots at six shelters in the Austin area. With durable, machine-washable covers and non-slip bottoms, they are easy to clean and maintain—and built to take some abuse. We hope these beds make the animals' stay a little more pleasant and help them feel more at ease.

All Things Wild: 10 pet beds

Located in Georgetown, Texas, All Things Wild Rehabilitation cares for thousands of orphaned, injured, and sick animals annually, all with the goal of releasing them back into the wild. All Things Wild also runs educational programs about local wildlife for the community and offers sanctuary for animals in need—like these adorable skunks.

Austin Humane Society: 500 pet beds

Opened in 1952, the Austin Humane Society (AHS) is Austin’s longest-standing no-kill shelter. They change the lives of animals and people by finding homes for pets, providing crisis support, reducing pet overpopulation, preventing future homelessness with spay and neuter services, and engaging and educating the public.

Austin Pets Alive! 50 pet beds

Founded in 1997, Austin Pets Alive! is not your typical animal shelter. They lead innovative programs to save animals at high risk for euthanasia. Their mission is to provide resources, education, and programs to end the killing of companion animals. Their vision is for every shelter animal in Central Texas and beyond to have a chance at a deserving life.

Dog Alliance: 30 pet beds plus a variety of acoustic panels (to help with the barking noise)

Dog Alliance is dedicated to improving lives through the healing power of dogs. Founded in 2006, this nonprofit provides service dogs for Texas veterans and first responders, as well as facility dogs for various institutions. Dog Alliance also offers Bow Wow Therapy Dogs in schools, courts, and hospitals, and trains individuals to handle their own service dogs. Believing in positive reinforcement, Dog Alliance is passionate about enhancing human-dog connections.

Texas Humane Heroes: 25 pet beds with more on the way

Texas Humane Heroes is a no-kill, nonprofit organization in Leander, Texas. Founded in 1979, they aim to save adoptable dogs and cats from euthanasia, reduce overpopulation through low-cost veterinary services, and enhance pet lives through community education. They promote responsible pet ownership with affordable adoptions, training, and public advocacy.

"I am a volunteer at Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. I just heard about your fantastic donation of 500 dog beds to the shelter. I want to let you know that the dogs will be very happy. My wife is also a volunteer and specializes in small dogs, especially the frightened, lonely, and rowdy. She truly understands how much this means to the dogs. Our goals are to save lives and make lives better. Thank you for joining us in this and for your generous donation." - Bic and Mary Wood

Our continuing commitment to the Austin community

We're grateful that we have the opportunity to support local animal welfare efforts with these Desk Pet Bed donations. This initiative is just one of the ways we give back to the Austin community. The UPLIFT Desk Donation Program further extends our commitment, providing desks and ergonomic furniture to local charities and nonprofits. We're proud to play a small part in making the world a better place, one desk (or pet bed) at a time.

Work better. Live healthier.
