Through continuous collaboration, we've achieved major milestones—including our award-winning V2 Desk and the newly launched V3 Desk. Every step of this journey reflects the passion and hard work of the people behind UPLIFT Desk, who turned a meaningful idea into a company trusted by individuals and businesses everywhere.
As a mechanical engineer and Certified Professional Ergonomist, Jon spent over a decade optimizing corporate workspaces and reducing injury risks. Yet, despite his expertise, he encountered a frustrating problem: he couldn't find a best-in-class standing desk at a reasonable price.
2002: Driven to make ergonomics accessible, Jon decided to build the solution himself. He began designing premium, affordable standing desks to bring the health and productivity benefits of an active workspace to everyone.
2011: Opened our first Austin showroom, sparking rapid growth and continuous expansion.
2016: Launched our Tree-Planting Initiative—planting five trees per solid wood desktop to reach 500,000 trees within a decade.
2017: Won "Best Customer Experience" for our industry-leading desk configurator.
2018: Named Wirecutter's Top Pick—an honor we’ve proudly maintained every consecutive year since.
2020: Rapidly scaled to meet surging WFH demand during the pandemic, led by the incredible dedication of our operations team.
