Reset & Troubleshoot Your UPLIFT Desk

Before using your desk for the first time, we recommend performing a reset per our reset instructions.

If your UPLIFT desk is not functioning properly, or if you have an advanced digital keypad that reads "RST", "RESET", or any other error code, follow our reset instructions—this will usually fix the issue IF you follow the instructions carefully and perform all the steps.

Program Your UPLIFT Desk

How to Program Your UPLIFT Desk Using Your Advanced Keypad or Advanced Comfort Keypad.

If you have the Basic 2-Button Keypad, your desk can't be programmed. However, if you'd like to program your desk you can purchase the Advanced Keypad or Advanced Comfort Keypad.

How to save up to four heights on your keypad:

  1. Press and hold the "up" or "down" button to move the desk to your desired height.
  2. Then press the "M" button followed by a number button (1, 2, 3, or 4) to assign the current height to that number.
  3. Once the memory buttons are programmed, just tap a numbered button and your desk will automatically move to the preset height. If you would rather require a press-and-hold of the button, instead of a tap, see below for how to program that.

How to lock your keypad to prevent accidental adjustments:

  1. Press and hold the "M" button until the display shows "LOC."
  2. To unlock your keypad, press and hold the "M" button until your display shows the current numeric height setting.

Note: In the event of a power outage, the desk will automatically return to the unlocked setting.

How to toggle between one-touch (single-touch) and constant-touch (press-and-hold) modes:

  1. Press and hold the "down" button until the desk reaches its lowest position.
  2. Press and hold the "down" button once again until the display flashes "RST."
  3. Press and hold the "1" button until the display shows "10.1" (one-touch) or "10.2" (constant-touch) and then goes back to "RST." While the display is flashing "RST," push the "1" button to toggle between the two settings.
  4. Then, press and hold the "down" button until the desktop lowers slightly, rises slightly, and the display changes back to the numeric height setting.

How to switch between inches and centimeters on your display:

  1. Press and hold the "down" button until the desk reaches its lowest position.
  2. Press and hold the "down" button once again until the display flashes "RST."
  3. Press and hold the "2" button until the display shows "10.3" (centimeters) or "10.4" (inches) and then goes back to "RST." While the display is flashing "RST", push the "2" button to toggle between the two settings.
  4. Then, press and hold the "down" button until the desktop lowers slightly, rises slightly, and the display changes back to the numeric height setting.

How to calibrate the height display on your desk:

Once the frame is assembled and plugged into a 120V outlet, press and hold the "down" button until the desk reaches its lowest position. Use a tape measure to check the height from the floor to the top side of the desktop. If your measurement matches your display, your desk is ready for use.

If the displayed height doesn't match the desk's actual height, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the "down" button until the display flashes "RST"; then push the "M" button until the numeric display begins flashing.
  2. Press the "up" or "down" button to adjust the displayed height to match your desk's measured height.
  3. Once the display changes back to "RST," press the "down" button until the desktop lowers slightly, rises slightly, and the display changes back to the numeric height setting.

*Note: "RST" will look like "ASr" on the display.

How to set your desk's maximum height:

  1. Press the "up" or "down" button to move the desk to the desired maximum height.
  2. Press the "M" button once and "S-" will appear on the display, then press the "up" button and the display will flash "S-".
  3. Press and hold the "M" button once again until the display shows "999" and then changes to the numeric height of the new upper limit.

How to set your desk's minimum height:

  1. Press the "up" or "down" button to move the desk to the desired minimum height.
  2. Press the "M" button once and "S-" will appear on the display, then press the "down" button and the display will flash "S-".
  3. Press and hold the "M" button once again, until the display shows "000" and then changes to the numeric value of the new lower limit.

How to remove the maximum and minimum heights:

  1. Press the "M" button once and the display will show "S-".
  2. Press and hold the "M" button once more until the display shows "555" and then changes to the current numeric height setting.

How to adjust the sensitivity on your desk's advanced anti-collision system:

  1. Press the DOWN button until the desk reaches the lowest position. Release button.
  2. Press and hold the DOWN button again until the display flashes “ASR”.
  3. Press and hold the UP button (about 5 seconds) until the display shows “10.5”, “10.6”, or “10.7”. This is your current anti-collision sensitivity setting.
    1. 10.5 is the most sensitive setting, false positives are sometimes possible.
    2. 10.6 is the moderate sensitivity setting.
    3. 10.7 is the least sensitive setting.
  4. While “ASR” is still flashing, you can press the UP button as many times as you’d like to toggle between the three settings.
  5. Once the desired setting is selected, wait about 5 seconds for the display to return to "ASR".
  6. Press the DOWN button until the desktop lowers slightly, then rises slightly and the display changes back to showing the desk's current height.
  7. The selected anti-collision sensitivity setting is saved and your desk is now ready to use.
