How to reset an UPLIFT standing desk

70% of standing desk control boxes returned to us for replacement are not defective and would have been fixed by performing the Quick Desk Reset. Avoid the unnecessary delay of waiting for replacement parts; it only takes about a minute and resolves most issues.

Reset your desk if:
  • Issues with the desk's operation are encountered

  • The desk has been unplugged or power has been lost

  • The desk is unresponsive

  • Error codes are displayed

Perform a Quick Desk Reset: 

  1. Clear the area beneath your desk to avoid any collisions as the desk will travel to its lowest position.

  2. Press and hold the down button for 30 seconds. Keypads with a display will show "ASr" when ready to reset. Advanced Paddle Keypads will display "RESET". Release.

  3. Hold the down button again until the desk lowers slightly, rises slightly, and stops. If the desk didn't move, try this step again.

  4. Try operating the desk. If the desk is working properly, you're done!
