Some customers use an old door, a piece of plywood, or rip off their desktop of a desk they already have and place it on this frame. Or if you're a woodworker, you can make your own beautiful top.
The side table's sturdy frame helps set it apart from other "standing only" desks on the market, but you can make it authentically yours by attaching your own desktop. The frame is compatible with a variety of tabletops with widths between 48" and 80" and depths of 24" to 30".

The frame's height is fixed at 41" without a desktop attached, which works as a general standing height for adults. This means that in addition to providing you extra desk space for accessories and office decor, you can also use our 4-Leg Standing Height Side Table as a short-term standing desk.

Yes and no. If you add one of our 1" inch desktops, this table is fixed at an ideal height for standing at 42". For this reason, it can be used short-term as a personal standing desk, but it is set at a fixed height and does not move up and down. Why do we recommend it for only short periods of use? A mix of sitting and standing is better for your body than sitting or standing all day long.

You can use your own desktop or or purchase this frame with one of our table tops. Assembly is simple and requires just a few screws to attach the legs and frame to the top.
